Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature. In the new exhibition, the novel Crime and Punishment is presented from different perspectives. The materials from the exhibition can be used in various ways by literature teachers when studying the novel at school. The article offers several methodological developments for classes on the novel Crime and Punishment held at the museum center. Among them are: a lesson in the thematic hall “Museum of the Novel Crime and Punishment,” an interactive lesson in the author’s hall by Mikhail Shemyakin, Raskolnikov’s Obsessions, and individual project assignments on the topics “The Novel Crime and Punishment in Translations into Foreign Languages” and “Film Adaptations of the Novel Crime and Punishment.” The use of museum exhibit materials in the process of studying Dostoevsky’s novel helps students to more effectively master its content.
