Special consideration is given to the problem of “Dostoevsky in Pushkin” that highlights the culture’s reverse movement in its “big time.” Specifically, once a specified capacity (“grain”) had been set, Russian literature developed (“germinated”) it; the aesthetic heritage of Pushkin became such a grain. The problem of “Dostoevsky in Pushkin” is the problem of Russian culture’s self-development by means of the creative mind.
