  • Abstract: The review treats Tatiana Kasatkina’s monograph “We Will Be Faces/ Persons…” An Analytical-Synthetic Reading of Dostoevsky’s Works. The book focuses on Dostoevsky’s religious and philosophical anthropology and the means of teasing it out of the texts, i.e. on the principles of analyzing the writer’s text and on the level of its interpretation and commentaries. Dostoevsky’s works are analyzed in an extensive typological context that spans literature and broadly construed art.
