Abstract: Dostoevsky scholars have long discussed the future image that the Darovoe Museum is to have: the following work presents one of the final stages in designing the estate restoration project. Taking the process of creating the Darovoe Museum into the public space allows the academic community to influence the process of re-shaping the new Museum; thus the phenomenon of an open restoration experience emerges.
