- Abstract: The article offers a brief overview of the significant opinions about the artistic worlds of Pushkin and Dostoevsky. Special consideration is given to the problem of “Dostoevsky in Pushkin” that highlights the culture’s reverse movement in its “big time.” Specifically, once a specified capacity (“grain”) had been set, Russian literature developed (“germinated”) it; the aesthetic heritage of Pushkin became such a grain. The problem of “Dostoevsky in Pushkin” is the problem of Russian culture’s self-development by means of the creative mind.
